Emerging Trail Leader Scholarship Recipient

Erinn Drage

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

With the skills I learn at the 2019 International Trails Symposium and Training Institute, I will continuing building my career in park and protected areas management through the lens of outdoor recreation.

After studying Environmental Sciences in my undergraduate degree, I began working in protected areas policy with the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society. I am now working as a Guide and Naturalist in the arctic and Antarctica, pursuing my passion for outdoor recreation and environmental education. In the future, I hope to continue working in recreation and tourism, developing my skills and knowledge of trails in backcountry settings.
