With the skills I learn at the 2019 International Trails Symposium and Training Institute, I will create trails that will last decades. Currently, I work as the Trails and Preserve Coordinator for Steep Rock Association, a land trust in Connecticut with 40 miles of beautiful multi-use trails. In this role, I maintain, design, and construct trails for hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians. ITS will therefore be an invaluable experience, one that will give me the know-how I need to create safer and more sustainable trails for my community.
