With the skills I learn at the 2019 International Trails Symposium and Training Institute, I will work to provide opportunities for youth engagement in trail stewardship and outdoor education on Canada’s Great Divide Trail (GDT). As a member of the Canadian Conservation Corps and chair of the GDTA’s Trail Building and Maintenance Committee, I also relish the prospect of sharing my experience with my peers and applying my learnings towards the growth of our trail association.
