With the skills I learn at the 2019 International Trails Symposium and Training Institute, I will work toward creating more inclusive, educational, and inspirational trail experiences. As a member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s Next Generation Advisory Council I serve on a board composed of young and diverse members that help advise the Appalachian Trail Conservancy on program policies and initiatives that inspire stewardship from a younger and more diverse generation. I am also currently in my junior year at Unity College where I am studying Parks and Forest Resources with a minor in Psychology. After I graduate, I hope to find ways to encourage connections to the land through education and/or hands-on conservation projects.
