What started as a small backyard garden where Channing Perdue helped her children learn where their food came from became a gathering spot for neighborhood kids. Everyone wanted to get their hands in the dirt and learn. That became a small farm on Cedar Creek Road for raising animals, too, and continuing the community-building and educational opportunities.
