Trinity Trail Preservation Association is an all-volunteer equestrian organization whose main purpose is to maintain the 25.5-mile long trail on the Corps of Engineers land along Lake Lavon northeast of Dallas.

Founded in 1999, Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC), a 501(c)(3) educational and economic development based non-profit Corporation, has developed into a 2,500 member strong family-focused motorized recreation advocate in the State of Texas. Members ride motorcycles, ATV’s and 4x4 vehicles at our parks.

Founded in 2000, Memorial Park Conservancy aspires to implement principles of exceptional park management and stewardship in a successful public-private partnership with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD). In 2015, Memorial Park Conservancy took over the day-to-day operations and maintenance of 1,100 of the 1,500 acres of Memorial Park.

Mackenzie Municipal Water Authority was created by an Act of the Texas Legislature in 1965. The purpose of the Authority is to furnish water to the municipalities of Floydada, Lockney, Silverton, and Tulia. Seventy miles of pipelines serve the water to the four cities. Mackenzie Municipal Water Authority owns 2,386 acres.

The University of Texas at Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center uses native plants to restore and create sustainable, beautiful landscapes. We carry out our mission to inspire the conservation of native plants through our gardens, research, education, consulting and outreach programs. In doing so, we improve water quality, provide habitat for wildlife, and enhance human health and happiness. In 2017, we were officially designated the Botanic Garden and Arboretum of Texas.
