The State Forests Trust of Oregon is the new name for the Trust (formerly Tillamook Forest Heritage Trust). Since 1999, the non-profit has served as a catalyst for private/public partnerships in support of the recreation, education and interpretation mission on Oregon’s state forest lands. The Trust has grown from focusing only on state forests in the northwest corner of the state to supporting state forests across the entire state. The Trust continues to raise funds that support experiences that help forest visitors and others better understand, use, and appreciate Oregon unique state-managed forests.

Friends of the Sandia Mountains (incorporated as New Mexico Friends of the Forest) is a (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization of local volunteers dedicated to working in partnership with the United States Forest Service, other groups and individuals to maintain, protect and restore the natural, cultural and scenic resources of forest lands for the enjoyment and wise use of present and future generations. Our focus is conservation and education within the Sandia Ranger District of the Cibola National Forest and adjacent lands.
