The Snow Shoe Rails to Trails was formed in 1999. We are all volunteers & maintain the trail with your membership dues. The trail is for walkers, bikers, equestrians, atvs & snowmobiles.

Rails to Trails of Central Pennsylvania strives to create an enjoyable atmosphere for people of all ages and of varying interests. The organization does this primarily through the conversion of abandoned railroad corridors, turning them into recreational trails for use by the public. We strive to utilize these resources by emphasizing their historic, natural and recreational aspects.

NEP Sno Trails is one of the largest trail systems in the state of Pennsylvania that is operated and maintained by a single organization. Since 1991 we have been committed to providing the best trails possible and always keep the safety of our riders first. We continue to improve our trails and our club by giving back to the surrounding community.

The Trail is maintained and managed by an extensive network of volunteers that includes a governing board, members, Friends groups, and donors. Collectively they contribute more than 20,000 volunteer man-hours each year! And yet, that is never enough — we can always use a few more hands to help us accomplish our annual goals.

The highest knob, the sharpest ridgelines, and some of the most dramatic views on Mid State Trail await intrepid hikers in the Everett Region. Everett Region starts at a connection with trails of Green Ridge State Forest at the Maryland line, climbs the highest and wildest sections of Tussey Ridge, and ends at US 22 near Water Street.

The Maple Summit Snowmobile Club is a small club located near Cranberry Glade Lake in the beautiful Laurel Mountains of Southwestern Pennsylvania. We are responsible for building bridges and maintaining and insuring the trails at Seven Springs to just north of Ohiopyle State Park.
