The Friends of the Cache River Watershed is a not-for-profit group of citizens dedicated to protecting, enhancing and sharing a unique natural and recreational resource, the Cache River Wetlands. We work together with area landowners and public schools, plus numerous agencies and organizations that share a common goal of habitat restoration, environmental education and community involvement in the Cache River Watershed. Pend Oreille Pedalers is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 2004 to oversee the development of a singletrack biking and hiking trail network in Sherwood Forest, which today is part of the Syringa Trail Network just west of Sandpoint, Idaho.
