Dirt Artisans is staffed by veteran trail builders with a passion for designing, building and maintaining trails. We have the professional expertise to create world-class trail experiences for the users of the trails we build and improve. Working with the natural features of the properties on which we build, we create flowing, functional, easy-to-maintain trails for long-term use and enjoyment. As a member of the Professional TrailBuilders Association, we also contribute to the improvement of the trail building trade through continuing education and mentoring of new trail builders.

Established in 1989, Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition (OECC) is a private, non-profit organization working to develop the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and National Heritage Area in Summit, Stark and Tuscarawas Counties. The OECC provides educational programs, events, and publications about the Canalway, while developing strong working relationships with partners to preserve and interpret the natural, historical and recreational resources throughout the area.
