Since 1961, the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation has been a cheerleader and fundraiser for Oklahoma 4-H Youth Development, working tirelessly to support programs, scholarships, awards and activities while increasing public awareness of the many benefits of 4-H. Our work to grow true leaders would not be possible without the generosity of our individual, corporate and foundation partners.

Kingfisher Trails began in 2002 as an idea by a group of citizens who wanted to develop a multi-purpose trail system through the City of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Through hard work, dedication and community support the trails are a reality today.

The Yadkin River Greenway was created through the cooperative efforts of citizen volunteers, landowners, and the governments of Wilkes County, North Wilkesboro, Wilkesboro, and the State of North Carolina. The effort began in 1994, and the first phase of the greenway became a reality and was opened May 18, 2002. The Yadkin River Greenway Council, a non-profit community organization, provided coordination and leadership.

Founded in 1989, the Triangle Rails to Trails Conservancy (TRTC) is a state chartered non-profit, organization. Its purpose is to work with local and state government officials to preserve local abandoned railroad corridors for future transportation and other interim uses such as recreational trails. The early members of TRTC worked closely with NC Rail-Trails to advocate and find funding for the 1992 ATT Master Plan which became the blueprint for the 22 mile trail we enjoy today.

Sauratown Trails Association, Inc. is a non-profit trails organization formed in 1988. STA members are avid nature and trail lovers dedicated to promoting, creating and maintaining horseback and hiking trails in Stokes and Surry counties of North Carolina.

The Tarheel Trailblazers Mountain Bike Association was founded in 1990 by a handful of local mountain bike enthusiasts. The Trailblazers is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, recognized as tax exempt in October 1997. Over the years the association has grown to over 650 resourceful, energetic and active men and women of all ages. Our volunteers work directly with local land managers, building and assisting in the maintenance of over 110 miles of carefully constructed, sustainable mountain bike trails, in the Metro – Charlotte region. We are the voice of advocacy for mountain bikers and our goal is to build and maintain trails for all mountain bikers to enjoy for generations to come.
