The Walthour-Moss Foundation - Imagine a woodland where time has stood still and where nature is protected and will never fall victim to bulldozers and concrete. The Foothills Equestrian Trails Association was established in 1993 by area equestrians concerned about local trails being lost to development. FETA is an alliance of rural Landowners and trail riders dedicated to preserving the historic horse trails throughout Hunting Country in Polk County, NC. The entire scope of the trail system is estimated to be approximately 125 contiguous miles. It encompasses approximately 15 square miles.
