Bike-Walk Alliance of NH advocates for policies, laws and conditions that increase safety and accessibility for bicyclists and pedestrians. We also work to educate all road users about the responsible use of New Hampshire’s roadways, sidewalks, bike paths and rail trails.

The Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation (LCTHF), Inc. was created to stimulate public appreciation of the Lewis and Clark Expedition’s contributions to America’s heritage and to support education, research, development and preservation of the Lewis and Clark experience. The Foundation serves as advocate, interpreter and protector of the trail.

Back Country Horsemen of the Flathead is a service organization formed in 1973. Our purpose is to perpetuate enjoyable common sense use of horses in the back country: assist government agencies in maintenance and management of the resource; and educate, encourage and solicit active public participation in wise and sustaining use of horses and use by people commensurate with our heritage and the back country resource.

The Sippican Lands Trust (SLT) is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 with the mission to acquire, preserve, and protect land in the Town of Marion for the long-term conservation of open space and to encourage appreciation, knowledge and healthy engagement of the natural world. Currently, the SLT protects 1,350 acres of open space. All SLT properties are open to the public for the enjoyment of recreational pursuits.

KLT is a nonprofit organization that holds land “in perpetuity” (or forever) for the benefit of people, plants and animals. We protect this land by either owning it outright or owning its development rights (a conservation easement). Land or easements can be donated to KLT for future safe-keeping.
