Weatherford Mountain Bike Club

Our mission is to establish guidelines and a framework for cooperation between the Weatherford Mountain Bike Club (WMBC), the City of Weatherford and Parker County regional land managers to collectively work together to build, maintain and manage multi-use nature trails for the benefit of the off-road bicycling, trail running and hiking communities of North Texas.

Consultation, planning, construction, maintenance, and/or management of sustainable natural surface, aggregate surface, or hard surface recreation trails. We build everything from skinny technical trails to wide inclusive trails, with fun features, bridges, and berms, leading to inspirational spots, or passing historical sites all while working with the land, land managers, and staying within the intended budget.

Putnam Parks & Pathways

Four organizations, with boards totaling nearly 50 people, work closely and share a staff. The Putnam County Parks Board governs the direction. Putnam Parks & Pathways makes things happen. Friends of the Park of Putnam County helps fund the vision, and the Putnam County Visitors Center promotes it. A unique collaboration, it’s designed to dream big with our county commissioners and county council and continually create fun, meaningful ways to enjoy the health, education, recreation, stewardship, and entertainment benefits of nature.

The Chiricahua Regional Council is a citizen’s watchdog group that monitors public agency actions and other issues affecting the Chiricahua, Peloncillo and Dragoon Mountains, and nearby areas of southeastern Arizona, southwestern New Mexico, and adjacent northern Mexico.
