Allegheny Land Trust (ALT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization helping local people save local land in the Pittsburgh Region. Protecting more than 3,400 acres of green space across 32 different municipalities in Allegheny and Washington Counties, ALT works to protect land of significant value to our region’s unique scenic landscape, biodiversity, and water quality. Additionally, ALT protects land to improve quality of life for current and future generations by offering recreational and educational opportunities.

Allegheny Valley Land Trust

Trans Canada Trail

Our dream of a cross-country Trail is now a reality. Our bold goal, nearly 25 years in the making, has been achieved with the help of our partners, donors and all levels of government. The Great Trail now consists of more than 27,000 kilometres of multi-use trails, linking Canada and Canadians. Moving beyond 2017, Trans Canada Trail’s mission will be to continue to enhance and improve the Trail by garnering support and continuing to nurture valuable relationships with Trail enthusiasts and partners across the country.

Sages Trail Solutions LLC

Established in 2000, Sages Trail Solutions LLC started by partnering with local Forestry Consultants and LA Wildlife and Fisheries contacts and handicap access trails were built for access to established Wildlife Refuge Areas. From there it branched into multi-use trail design and build and has worked on projects for hiking, eco-tourism, mountain biking, hashing and commuter connector trails.
