Visit Syracuse plays a critical role in Onondaga County's economic development strategy through its focus to grow the area's tourism industry. We are an affiliate of CenterState CEO and Onondaga County’s official Tourism Promotion Agency (TPA); leading the production of over $863 million in direct visitor spending annually, to the local economy. Also, as the area’s largest accredited Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), Visit Syracuse works to generate short-term and future income for businesses, employment for residents and tax revenue for local government.

The purpose of the Association is to promote the construction, maintenance, and use of a state-wide trail system, within the State of Ohio, to be supplemented with side trails, campsites, and other facilities, so as to render accessible some of the historical and beauty spots of the Buckeye State. The trail shall be primarily a footpath, but certain portions may be designated for use by horsemen and/or other non-motorized users.

The Myeerah Nature Preserve is 450 acres and is maintained by the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District. Myeerah is open from dawn to dusk for patrons to explore. This area offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, shelter house rentals, weddings, etc.
