The Farmington Canal Rail-to-Trail Association

The over Eighty miles of the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail (FCHT) and the eighteen miles of the Farmington River Trail constitute one of the most picturesque and historic greenways in New England. The Connecticut section from New Haven to Suffield runs fifty four miles through eleven towns and connects with many more biking and walking trails. The FCHT has been designated a Community Millennium Trail under the federal Millennium Trails Initiative based upon its special value to the communities it serves.

Overland Mountain Bike Association

Overland Mountain Bike Association is the premier mountain biking organization in the Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming region. We are also a federally-registered 501c3 non-profit organization. We advocate for more and better trails, build trails, maintain trails, teach people how to ride, and patrol trails assisting all user groups. But we also like to get out and ride. Join us for a ride sometime.

Friends of Stafford Lake Bike Park (FOSLBP)

The Friends of Stafford Lake Bike Park is a nonprofit organization specifically formed to support the Marin County Parks and Open Space District’s efforts to build and maintain the Bike Park at Stafford Lake County Park. This includes fundraising from foundations and companies, assisting with grant procurement, coordinating volunteer efforts and promoting the use of the park.

Mount Wilson Bicycling Association (MWBA)

The Mount Wilson Bicycling Association (MWBA) was formed in 1986 by Alan Armstrong and today is a strong volunteer group still working in the San Gabriel Mountains. MWBA’s initial purpose was to educate mountain bikers about trail courtesy and safety. Today MWBA continues that education work and helps the USFS maintain the trails in the Angeles National Forest.

Homer Soil & Water Conservation District

SWCDs are local units of government that develop, manage, and direct natural resource programs at the local level. They work in both urban and rural settings, with landowners and other land managers, to carry out a program for the conservation, wise use, and sustainable development of soil, water, and related resources. The Homer District is one of 13 soil and water conservation districts in Alaska.
