Siskiyou Mountain Club

We started in 2010 as a small group of fiery volunteers determined to restore a single route through the Kalmiopsis Wilderness Area. Since then we’ve developed into the area’s only organization dedicated to wilderness stewardship. With over 350 miles of trails, 800 members, and over 100 volunteers, Siskiyou Mountain Club is leading the way to preserving the most remote, wild, treasured and threatened trails throughout Southwest Oregon and Northwest California.

Oregon State Snowmobile Association

The Oregon State Snowmobile Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1972 by a small group of snowmobilers working to find a way to provide a groomed statewide trail system and to assure continued access to our public lands. We are currently an organization with twenty-five member clubs and a trail system of 6,410 miles of multi-use snowmobile trails. We promote safe and responsible snowmobiling, represent snowmobilers as an organized group and promote proper recreational use of our land by working together with the Forest Service, BLM and other land managers to develop and maintain a quality trail system and winter recreation opportunities. Our mission, briefly stated, is to protect, promote and enhance the family sport of snowmobiling.

Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is a special place. One of the largest expanses of temperate coastal sand dunes in the world, the stark, mist-shrouded views of dunes, forests, and ocean in such close proximity to one another are rare and hauntingly beautiful. Many plants and animals, including some found in few other places, call this area home. In 1972, Congress designated this 31,500-acre portion of the Siuslaw National Forest as a National Recreation Area in recognition of its unique values.

Nooksack Nordic Ski Club

In 1992, the USFS granted the Nooksack Nordic Ski Club (NNSC) a Voluntary Services agreement to provide and maintain a quality groomed, non-motorized winter recreation trail system for the public in northwestern Washington that we call Salmon Ridge. We also provide educational classes and programs pertaining to winter recreation and ski clinics for those wishing to learn or improve their skills. Funding is provided through grants awarded by the WA State Parks and Recreation Commission through the Winter Recreation Program, the National Recreational Trails Program, and through the efforts of countless volunteers who dedicate their labor to provide this service. Intermingled in all this, we have fun! Our members go on lots of ski trips to our “home” trails at Salmon Ridge and to many other locations. Come join us!
