Spanning 110 miles from the Gulf of Mexico to St. Johns River. The Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway follows the path of the abandoned Cross Florida Barge Canal. Despite never being completed, the gargantuan public works project has a long history.

The mission of Poudre Wilderness Volunteers is to assist the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the United States Forest Service in managing and protecting wilderness and backcountry areas within its jurisdiction. To achieve this mission, Poudre Wilderness Volunteers recruits, trains, equips and fields citizen volunteers to serve as wilderness rangers and hosts for the purpose of educating the public, and provides other appropriate support to these wild areas.

The Friends of the Little Miami State Park (FLMSP) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to maintain and improve the 50-mile Little Miami State Park paved trail. We work closely with the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources to preserve the park’s natural river setting while creating a safe, enjoyable experience for all trail users.
