Triangle Off-Road Cyclists (TORC)

Triangle Off-Road Cyclists (TORC) is a key advocate for the establishment of more trails in the Triangle area of North Carolina. We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in August 2005. Prior to that, the Triangle’s mountain bike community was served by individual mountain bike clubs focused on a specific trail network. TORC was formed to unify the smaller clubs into a stronger voice.

The Munising Bay Trail Network is a trail system being built in the City of Munising: Singletrack Trail/Bike Park - West M-28 Munising and in the USFS, Hiawatha National Forest: Valley Spur Recreation Area singletrack, Bruno's run H-13 and Grand Island.

Friends of the Blue Star Trail

riends of the Blue Star Trail is a 501(c)(3) organization that acts as a catalyst to promote and fund the Trail, in partnership with our local communities. Friends raises money for engineering and local match funding required for state/federal matching construction grants. We also assist the municipalities to prepare and submit applications for state/federal matching grants.
