I became intrigued with crosscut saws when I first realized that sharpness of saw teeth did not always make for ease of sawing. Since that bit of insight, I've had a long satisfying career as a trail crew leader, I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of enthusiastic and fascinating people and I have enjoyed tuning, sharpening and testing thousands of saws. I put up this website as part of my effort to continue making connections with folks who like crosscut saws and to help us share our knowledge of the tools and skills and projects that pull us all together. -Dolly B.
