Jody Baumstein, LCSW, is a licensed therapist on the Strong4Life team at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In her current role, she develops behavioral and mental health messaging, content, and programming. She also serves as the primary media expert, appearing in national and local news spots speaking on topics related to youth mental health. Prior to joining Children’s, she oversaw a school-based counseling program, which provided on-site therapeutic services and created trauma-informed learning environments. She has worked with youth and families in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, residential programs, in-home and schools. In her clinical practice outside of Children’s, she is currently focused on treating adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
