Brent is the Outdoor Recreation Program Manager for Five Rivers MetroParks in Dayton, Ohio and was part of the Outdoor Recreation Initiative when it began in 2006. Over the last 14 years he has been involved with developing the programming, events, and facilities that helped establish Dayton, Ohio as The Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Midwest! Brent works with a great team to produce Five Rivers MetroParks award winning signature event, Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience, along with skill building programming and advocacy efforts. Brent is a Certified Festival and Event Associate through the International Festival and Events Association.
Prior to working with Five Rivers MetroParks, Brent was an outdoor industry sales representative, part of the Backpacker Magazine Get Out More! Road Team and thru-hiked the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Buckeye Trails.
