Our mission is to promote cultural tourism by education, preservation and conservation of the heritage & culture within the six northwest Alabama counties — Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone & Morgan — of the Tennessee River basin. We inform, educate, develop & interpret visitor-ready sites, support local programs that help tell our story & chronicle the evolution of the area’s landscape.
