Wildlands Restoration Volunteers (WRV) is a Colorado nonprofit 501(c)(3) that organizes thousands of volunteers each year to complete more than 100 wild lands conservation projects in Colorado and southern Wyoming. Projects range in length from just a couple of hours or a single day to a weekend or longer with camping and great food in spectacular mountain settings. WHF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting and enhancing wildlife habitat and connecting Californians to the outdoors. WHF is a statewide land trust currently preserving over 100,000 acres of ecologically significant land and water resources and regularly engages and cooperates with land trusts, conservation organizations, public agencies, project proponents and other land stewards that require expertise in the area of the protection of wildlife and open space habitat in perpetuity. WHF has been accredited by the Land Trust Alliance since 2008 and is a member in good standing of the California Council of Land Trusts. In addition, WHF provides educational opportunities for hundreds of students every year to experience first-hand the abundance of plants and animals living on our protected open-space preserves.

Willamalane Park and Recreation District maintains and operates five recreation facilities and 46 parks and natural areas, totaling more than 1,500 acres. Highlights include 10 waterfront areas, 29 miles of hiking and biking trails, 9 sports fields and 27 playgrounds. Created by voters in 1944, Willamalane is a special tax district, separate from the city of Springfield, with its own boundaries.
