Southwest Iowa Nature Trails Project (SWINT) maintains the Wabash Trace Nature Trail, a converted railroad right-of-way running 63 miles and over 72 bridges through the scenic Southwest Iowa countryside. The corridor was purchased in 1989 and the trail was completed and dedicated in 1997. Establishment of the trail has required dedication from individuals, families, businesses, service organizations, and local, state, and federal grant programs.

Wachusett Greenways’ mission is connecting the Wachusett community with trails and greenways. In 1995, this all-volunteer nonprofit group and our partners began to build and maintain trails. Members, volunteers, donors, and many partners are central to our work. We envision an expanded network of trails and roads for non-motorized recreation and transportation in central Massachusetts.

Walk San Francisco exists to change this. We want nothing less than to make San Francisco the most pedestrian-friendly city in the United States.
