Off-Road Nevada

The Nevada Off-Highway Vehicles Program promotes safe and responsible use of Nevada's outstanding opportunities for off-road recreation. The program provides grants to fund off-highway vehicle related projects throughout the state including trail improvements, mapping, signage, law enforcement, education, safety training, restoration, and other projects. Off-Road Nevada is a collaborative effort between the State of Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles and Clark County, Nevada.

Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition

Established in 1989, Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition (OECC) is a private, non-profit organization working to develop the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and National Heritage Area in Summit, Stark and Tuscarawas Counties. The OECC provides educational programs, events, and publications about the Canalway, while developing strong working relationships with partners to preserve and interpret the natural, historical and recreational resources throughout the area.

Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge

The Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1990 to protect, conserve, and restore habitat for wildlife native to the river's floodplain. The refuge consists of twenty-two islands and four mainland tracts scattered along 362 miles of the upper Ohio River. Most of the refuge's 3440 acres of land and underwater habitat are located in West Virginia; however, Pennsylvania and Kentucky each have two refuge islands.
