Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation

Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF) began in 1999 as a statewide nonprofit organization to provide a voice for the Commonwealth’s 121 state parks and 2.2 million acres of forest land. With PPFF, citizens can donate or bequeath money to state parks and forests, become active and involved volunteers in the park and forest system, and find some fun and educational opportunities. PPFF’s status as a registered charity allows chapter friends groups to operate on our public lands for the benefit of everyone.

Lancaster Conservancy

Since 1969 the Conservancy has been working to save important natural places for people and wildlife. As more land is lost each year to development, it’s our mission to protect and maintain carefully selected habitat in its natural state as a balance to our growth. Each conservation project is as unique as the property itself, and we are grateful to work with wonderful partners who allow us the flexibility necessary to save nature however possible!

Desert Foothills Land Trust

Desert Foothills Land Trust was formed in 1991 by citizens who were concerned about the pace of development and the loss of natural areas in their community. Led by a volunteer board of directors and a small staff, the Land Trust has become a stable and well-respected organization working to conserve the most sensitive and important open spaces in the communities of Anthem, Carefree, Cave Creek, Desert Hills, New River, North Phoenix and North Scottsdale - the Desert Foothills of Arizona. To date, we have conserved 680 acres on 23 preserves, many of which are open to the public for recreation and exploration. In 2010 the Land Trust was accredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission - a mark of distinction in the land trust community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
