Cloud City Wheelers

Formed in 2007 after a devoted group of cyclists saw the need for an organized voice in the community. With the spirit of the original Cloud City Wheelmen group of the 1800s we strive to serve the community of Leadville. We now play host to races and events, family group rides, ride to work days, volunteer days, trail building and maintenance, adult group rides all while trying to create and promote new and existing trails as an economic driver in Lake County.

Friends of the Centennial Trail

Friends of the Centennial Trail advocate for maintenance and completion of the Spokane River Centennial Trail, connecting trails and adjacent park lands. This 63 mile, State Park, two-state National Recreation Trail is a treasure for Inland Northwest residents and visitors. Over 39 miles in eastern Washington span from the WA/ID state line through Liberty Lake, Spokane Valley, Spokane, Riverside State Park and Nine Mile Falls, Washington. Heading east from the state line, 24 miles extend through Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Friends of Fourmile Chapter GARNA

Friends of Fourmile chapter of GARNA consists of volunteers from the motorized and non-motorized recreational communities who have special concern for the 100,000 acre Forest Service/BLM area in northern Chaffee County called the Fourmile Travel Management Area. The overall goal is good stewardship of the land’s resources (meaning a minimum of direct and indirect impacts) and maintenance of a balance among various recreational uses.
