The Great Basin Institute is an interdisciplinary field studies organization that promotes environmental research, education, and conservation throughout the West. Founded in 1998 at the University of Nevada, the Institute’s mission is to advance applied research and ecological literacy through community engagement and agency partnerships to support national parks, forests, open spaces and public lands.

The Great Falls Snowmobile Club has been in existence since the early 1970's and in conjunction with the Meager County snowmobile club , the King's Hill Grooming Association, the US Forest Service and Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks we maintain over 300 miles of groomed and some ungroomed trails.

Great Lakes Trailbuilders LLC was started in 2008 to bring a low impact and environmentally friendly approach to trailbuilding and design to the midwest. Willie Bittner started working on trails 14 years ago with the Wisconsin DNR and over the years he has worked from coast to coast building trails and teaching the different methods and styles to volunteer groups, conservation corps, and state agencies.

Most of Great North Woods Rider's ATV Club's trails are on 8,000 acres of the Perry Stream Land and Timber Co. Pittsburg New Hampshire. This area is located between Indian Stream and Perry Stream in Pittsburg, NH. Approximately 120 miles of trails range from graveled roads to tight woods trails with some muddy areas. A few trails run beside Perry Stream and Indian Stream providing nice views and opportunities to do a little fishing.
The Great North Woods Riders ATV trail system is part of the Ride The Wilds interconnecting trail system, which includes 1,000 + miles of interconnecting ATV trails in Coos County, New Hampshire.
