Our goal is simple, we are working to bring people together to help preserve and protect this wonderful resource now and for future generations. We are a non-profit organization that helps maintain and preserve the Uwharrie National Forest.

The Friends of White Clay Creek State Park is a Delaware 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. Membership in the Friends is open to anyone with an interest in the preservation and enhancement of White Clay Creek State Park.
Our members come from a variety of backgrounds, with differing interests, knowledge, and concerns for the park’s protection. All share the desire to preserve the park for the benefit of current and future generations.

Friends of Wilmington Parks is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1991 as a grass-roots organization of supporters who wanted to restore Brandywine Park to its original splendor. Our mission is the sensitive restoration of parkland and historic structures and the support of educational, recreational, and cultural programs for the public. FOWP is committed to maintaining the natural beauty and historic monuments of the Wilmington State Parks, which are part of the Delaware State Parks system: Brandywine Park, Rockford Park, Kentmere Parkway, Alapocas Run State Park, and H. Fletcher Brown Park.
