Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve (FFRP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of the 437 acre former Fiscalini Ranch. The Ranch is one of the last unspoiled public open spaces on the California coast, and FFRP, in collaboration with the Cambria Community Services District, has stewardship responsibility for conservation, restoration, and public participation programs.

The mission of F3ST is to bring together communities and volunteers to build, maintain, and promote the Fonta Flora State Trail (FFST). Located in western North Carolina, the 100-Mile Fonta Flora State Trail will connect Morganton to Asheville with hiking and biking trails along the Catawba River and creeks, around Lake James, through the mountains and into downtowns.

The Friends of the Fred Meijer River Valley Rail Trails is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of West Michigan volunteers excited and committed to supporting the River Valley Rail Trail system. The Fred Meijer Grand River Valley Trail is constructed on a former railroad corridor between Lowell and Ionia. The Fred Meijer Flat River Valley Rail Trail is located on the former railroad corridor between Lowell and Greenville. The River Valley Rail Trails are non-motorized multi-use recreational trails used by individuals, families and organizations.

The Genesee Valley Greenway State Park (GVGSP) is one of the hundreds of greenways being developed across the nation along old canals, abandoned rail beds, and riverbanks. It passes through scenic woodlands, river and stream valleys, rolling farmlands, steep gorges, and historic villages located in sixteen towns in Monroe, Livingston, Wyoming, Allegany, and Cattaraugus counties in New York State.
