Town of Poultney

Recreation opportunities are plentiful in the Town of Poultney. The Town’s Recreation Commission provides a year-round program for children and adults. Many private organizations also provide social and recreational opportunities. The Delaware and Hudson (D&H) Hiking Path, local rivers and streams and Lake St. Catherine provide outdoor recreational opportunities. The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) uses the D & H right-of-way and an extensive system of trails.
