Agricultural-Natural Resources Trust was formed as the first Land Trust of Eastern Contra Costa County by the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors in 1997. Conserving the agricultural heritage and natural resources of Contra Costa County, as well as neighboring areas, is critical to protecting our way of life. We’re not a government agency but a private, nonprofit corporation that depends on the support of generous donors, landowners, and volunteers to do our work.

The AgriVision Equipment Group was formed on January 1, 2014, with the merger of A&M Green Power Group and Barker Implement. The merger completed the consolidation of four long-time, family-owned John Deere dealerships, that covered Southwest and South Central Iowa, into one operating unit.
AgriVision Equipment is owned by the five former dealerships: Athen Implement, Barker Implement, Macedonia Implement Co., McCunn Equipment, Pender Implement and our CEO Jeremy Ostrander. The multi-generational relationships of the five dealership families (Athen, Barker, McCready, McCunn, and Allen) have made this a natural fit.

ADECA is responsible for administering a broad range of state and federal programs that contribute to the department’s mission — Building Better Alabama Communities. Each year we distribute hundreds of millions of dollars to Alabama cities, counties, non-profit organizations and others. Our grants support economic development projects, infrastructure improvements, job training, energy conservation, law enforcement, traffic safety, recreation development and assistance to low-income families. We also work to monitor and protect Alabama’s water resources, and we distribute state and federal surplus property to local governments and other qualified organizations.
ADECA programs are as diverse as the people of Alabama and impact every corner of the state. The department works to assist children, the elderly, victims of crime and abuse, the disadvantaged and poor and the unemployed. Businesses, local governments, schools and non-profit organizations benefit from the hundreds of grants and contracts administered by ADECA.
