Description

The instructor will model techniques for worksite and personnel management and lead a review of leadership qualities. Participants will then be able to practice crew-leading techniques with other students acting as crew members. Students will rotate through the roles of the crew leader and crew member benefitting from the observation of multiple leadership styles. Worksite safety and efficient deployment of the crew will be the focus.

Learning Objective: Participants will develop skills in worksite and personnel management on a trail project to practice potential scenarios that can occur in the field.
