Interagency partnerships are often a key component of delivering effective pedestrian safety projects. Planning efforts by the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) have identified numerous Complete Streets projects that have been implemented through the MPO’s partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation. The Broward MPO’s current investment will add approximately 50 miles of pedestrian facilities to the existing active transportation network in the next five years. This webinar will highlight the importance of partnership in planning, designing, and implementing roadway projects that enhances safety and livability for people of all ages and abilities.
