Duke Energy TRAILS at RCC will be offering the popular four-day basic skills training session, Sustainable Trail Design and Layout, Construction, and Maintenance, twice this fall on October 7-10 and December 2-5. Participants will learn the five essential elements of sustainable trails and how to incorporate them into trail layout and construction. This session will guide participants from desktop trail planning to design and layout, corridor flagging, and pin flagging of a trail alignment in the field. Students will gain field experience constructing new trail, reroutes, and maintaining existing trails on the Rockingham Community College campus.
