As Trail Construction Manager of the Hansville Greenway, Sid led the effort to provide Kitsap County with volunteer and financial resources to prepare two grant applications for the completion of the Hansville Greenway trails.
Tom is a volunteer who works with every public agency on the Olympic Peninsula to construct and maintain trail, plan trail work, and recommend trail use and policy changes.

The Weed Patch Mountain Trail (WPM Trail) is a 8.6 mile multi-use backcountry trail implemented with state-of-the-art sustainable design and construction to offer a world class user experience in the Hickory Nut Gorge to hikers, mountain bikers, and rock climbers.
When Bill Queen learned no agency in West Virginia had the authority to designate a stream as a water trail, he got the WV Division of Natural Resources to give them a letter acknowledging the Walhonde Water Trail existed.
Doug has been involved with WV Scenic Trails Association for so many years, that he has also been given the title of historian, or antiquarian, or archivist!
Ella became the first Executive Director for the Monongahela River Trails Conservancy in 2000 and helped develop and implement a trail management plan that includes many agency and community partnerships.

Construction involved professional trail contractors, youth service crews, and community volunteer groups. The three-mile trail is a segment of the 20-mile Upper Hickory Nut Gorge Trail that will circumnavigate the community of Gerton.
