The 2020 SHIFT Summit will be broadcast virtually from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, from October 14-16. Entitled “Healthy by Nature,” the Summit will focus on the mental health benefits of time outside, with a specific focus on health equity and access to nature.

Ron was an avid snowmobiler and ATV rider who worked for the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources. Ron was a leader who knew that the State Trails Program exists only because of Wyoming’s snowmobile and ORV riders who fund it.

The ‘2017 Diversified Winter Trail Grooming’ project provided trail grooming for snowmobile trails in Wyoming that are also heavily used by a wide range of other winter recreationists.
Located between Laramie and Cheyenne, the 55,000-acre Pole Mountain Unit on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest is a treasured resource for outdoor recreation and trails. Pole Mountain provides the closest public lands to these two large Wyoming communities, and increasingly is a destination for visitors from the Colorado front range and travelers along Interstate 80.

However, they also include more detailed guidelines specific to the highly varied settings along the Continental Divide.
