Stephanie Piperno is a Trail Planner with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). She joined DDOT’s Active Transportation team in April 2022. Prior to her work at DDOT, Stephanie served as the Trails Coalition Manager at the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) overseeing the Capital Trails Coalition (CTC). Stephanie is most passionate about building partnerships and ensuring that trail projects meaningfully engage with the public. She received a Master’s in Sustainability Management from American University’s Kogod School of Business, and played four years of Division I soccer at Davidson College.
