Robert Manning

Robert Manning is Professor Emeritus in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont. He teaches and conducts research on the history, philosophy and management of national parks and wilderness. He is the founding Director of the Park Studies Laboratory which conducts a long-term program of research for the U.S. National Park Service and other agencies, and is the author of several books about the national parks.
