Outdoors For All Winter Volunteer Registration is Open!

Please see below for upcoming Winter volunteer opportunities. Winter volunteers keep in mind that Fundraising Events and Custom Events count towards your makeup days (you must volunteer at the same mountain as your program).

Spreefest 2020

Volunteer at our 23rd annual winter fundraiser, Spreefest! This will take place on Saturday, March 7th from 9AM–4PM at Summit West at The Summit at Snoqualmie. As a volunteer you will receive an all-day lift ticket to the Summit, continental breakfast, lunch by Red Robin, enjoy the beer garden (21+ only), try out the race course, enter to win raffles AND have the opportunity to demo 2020 gear from industry reps!

Snowshoe with Lifelong Recreation

Join us for a day of snowshoeing at Snoqualmie pass as we get outside with the Seattle Parks and Rec Lifelong Recreation group. This beginner snowshoe trip will give you an opportunity to get some fresh air up in the mountains. We will return to the yurt for lunch and will have the option to explore further after a break. As a volunteer, you will snowshoe with participants, assisting those who may have compromised balance and will have the chance to enjoy the company of our friends from Seattle Parks and Rec.

When: January 22nd 9:30am-2:00pm

Where: Summit West

Snowshoe with Sounds Steps

Join us for a day of snowshoeing at Snoqualmie pass as we get outside with the Seattle Parks and Rec Sound Steps group. The two hour snowshoe trip will involve some hills, but will not be too strenuous. We will stop for a lunch break mid hike. As a volunteer, you will snowshoe with participants, assisting those who may have compromised balance and will have the chance to enjoy the company of our friends from Seattle Parks and Rec.

When: February 6th 9:30am-2:30pm

Downhill Skiing with New Horizon School

Outdoors for All will provide a day of skiing and snowboarding for New Horizon School students. Please register based on discipline (i.e ski v. snowboard, sit v. stand). You must have already attended downhill training or clinics during the 2019-2020 season in order to volunteer for this event.

When: February 13th from 8:15am-3:00pm

Where: Stevens Pass

Downhill Skiing with DSB

Outdoors for All is partnering with the Department of Services for the Blind to offer a Downhill Ski day to individuals with visual impairment. Please register based on discipline (i.e. stand ski or sit ski). You must have already attended downhill training during the 2019-20 season in order to volunteer for this event.

When: February 29th from 9am-12pm

Where: Summit at Snoqualmie

Snowshoe with Enumclaw Parks and Rec

Join us for a day of intermediate snowshoeing at Snoqualmie pass as we get outside with Enumclaw Parks and Rec. The two hour snowshoe trip will involve some hills, but will not be too strenuous. As a volunteer, you will snowshoe with participants, assisting those who may have compromised balance and will have the chance to enjoy the company of our friends from Enumclaw Parks and Rec.”

When: March 15th from 12pm-4pm

Where: Summit at Snoqualmie

Skiing with Camp Korey

Outdoors for All will provide a day of skiing and snowboarding for Camp Korey participants. Please register based on discipline (i.e ski v. snowboard, sit v. stand). You must have already attended downhill training or clinics during the 2019-2020 season in order to volunteer for this event.

When: March 28th from 9am-3pm

Skiing with Seattle Children's Hospital

Outdoors for All will provide a day of skiing and snowboarding for patients of Seattle Children's Hospital. Please register based on discipline (i.e ski v. snowboard, sit v. stand). You must have already attended downhill training or clinics during the 2019-2020 season in order to volunteer for this event.

When: March 29th from 9am-3pm

Ski and Snowboard Day with Tierra Village

Outdoors for All will provide a day of skiing and snowboarding for Tierra Village participants. Please register based on discipline (i.e ski v. snowboard, sit v. stand). You must have already attended downhill training or clinics during the 2019-2020 season in order to volunteer for this event.
