The Maston Area of the Cascade Mountains; where bikers, horses and hikers share the space, but not the trails. Trail routes are lines with lava rock.

There are many ways you can help care for your public lands, from one-time volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages to longer-term positions, as well as options for families and groups. We hope that your experience with the Bureau of Land Management will enhance your awareness, understanding, and appreciation of our natural and cultural resources.

Where can you learn about volunteer opportunities with the BLM? Check volunteer.gov for current volunteer opportunities, from campground host to volunteer vacations. And always check with your local BLM office.
