The Department of Natural Resources is seeking one (1) permanent, full-time Natural Resources Specialist Senior Park and Trails - OHV Specialist in New Ulm, MN. Work hours and work shift are primarily day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. May require some evenings and weekends for meetings and travel. The selected candidate will have the option to report to one of the following locations: New Ulm or St. Paul. The specific location will be agreed upon at time of selection. This position provides professional assistance in the administration and management of the Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) recreation programs and facilities primarily in the South Region. The position coordinates with and acts as the liaison between project partners; builds effective relationships with key stakeholders with trail activities, including local clubs, state associations, sponsors, conservation organizations, chambers of commerce and other county, state, and federal agencies, and communicates with the public. Position provides GPS and GIS support for other Parks & Trails Division projects. Position assists the Regional Manager in the operation of the Minnesota Trail Assistance Program (Grant-In-Aid).
