The Trail Stewardship Academy (TSA) is a program of American Trails that supports increasing the capacity of the trails community to be the best possible stewards of the investment they make in trail development.
Curriculum for workshops includes all aspects of trail planning, design, construction, maintenance and management and is fully customizable to meet the needs of your staff and volunteers.
Program development tools result in increased effectiveness while smoothly integration into existing operations.
Collaboration between Agencies, Organizations and Individuals is inherent in a TSA workshop.
Establishing trainers locally is a cornerstone of TSA. Each TSA program will leave behind newly certified experts who will carry on the trainings in their area while receiving ongoing support from TSA and contributing to the sustainability and cost effectiveness of an ongoing training program.
The Trail Stewardship Academy has created a survey to identify trail training and program development survey of the partners in the area where the training will occur.
