More on the 1998 National Trails Symposium: details and contacts

Why Tucson?

Tucson, Arizona, the site of the Symposium, is one of the most dynamic and culturally diverse cities in the southwest. It's one of America's leading trails communities, and terrific November weather means that you'll be able to sample the world-class trails located on the huge expanse of local, state and federal lands that surround the city.

The full registration package includes three full days of meals, over 50 educational sessions, a wealth of printed materials, access to the largest trails exhibit hall ever, and endless networking opportunities. Great outdoor recreation activities, reasonably priced educational field trips, special events, and arranged excursions will abound.

Who is American Trails?

We are the only national, nonprofit organization working on behalf of all trails and trails interests. We want to establish and maintain a united trails constituency. Therefore, we are working with all trails user groups who support responsible and sustainable trail enjoyment.
