Want to play in the dirt? Come out to the John Deere Coal Valley Demonstration Site and dig to your heart's content! The international headquarters of John Deere is in Moline, Illinois. John Deere is a major sponsor of the Symposium. The 123-acre Coal Valley demonstration site contains a huge selection of Deere construction and forestry equipment, all of which you may try for yourself.

Lunch will be provided at the facility, followed by a demonstration of equipment, highlighting the key features, and allowing you to learn how John Deere equipment can help you with all your trail construction projects— from grading a trailside parking lot in town, to excavating for a backcountry bridge. Following the demonstration you will be given a chance to ride and drive Deere's most up to date line of Deere construction and forestry equipment. Nothing runs like a Deere.
