Cross Country Trail at Crow Creek Park, Bettendorf, Iowa

When the City of Bettendorf acquired an additional 54 acres in 1995, plans began to be developed to complement the existing 80-acre Crow Creek Park. A 4-field baseball complex and a 3-field soccer pitch were the main components of the active use area planned for the new parkland. The remaining area of land was planned to be left in its natural state, where a trail to be used for cross country running built in 2001. Cyclocross Racing, which combines running, hill climbing, and mountain biking, is another of the activities that use the trail.
