American Trails is now on Facebook and Twitter.
Hello Friends,
As you may or may not know, American Trails recently joined Facebook and Twitter (yes, yes, I hear your groans). We’d really like to promote ourselves and grow, as a result of this move, but for growing to happen… we need “members” or “followers.” This is where you come in. For American Trails to become more widely known it needs more publicity. If you joined us on these sites and in turn encouraged your friends and family—as well as your neighbors, postal workers, cable guy, kids’ teachers, veterinarians, you get the idea—then our popularity would grow. Additionally, more Americans would become aware of our mission and everything would just be grand.
“But I’m not a Facebook user” or “I’ve never even seen Twitter” you say? “No problem!” we respond. Signing up is easy and literally painless. It costs nothing, it’s a great communication tool and the majority of America is already doing it. If peer pressure isn’t the way to go about convincing you, then know by using these sites you can communicate and keep up to date with individuals and organizations around the world (yes, like a telephone, but without the hassle of fees and reception.)
We are not requiring you to use these sites (merely suggesting) but your membership would benefit us, who in turn would benefit you, as both American Trails members and trail users. See you online!
