Specialized retractable and removable bollards
For sites where change of pathway or roadway access is required, Reliance Foundry offers a unique range of removable, retractable and collapsible bollards. All of these specialized bollards can be raised to protect a property perimeter, and are simple to remove or retract to admit delivery, maintenance, and emergency vehicles.

• Retractable or collapsible bollards are intended for applications where frequent or quick lowering or collapsing of the bollard post is necessary (i.e. emergency access). These bollards retract easily into the grade, and rise from ground level to deter and direct traffic as necessary.
• Reliance Foundry’s removable steel bollards fulfill the same function as retractable bollards, but at a lower cost and without the larger footing required. These bollards have vandal-proof, ease-of-use locks, with further protection using a locking cover available

 

Hardware and connections
Every Reliance Foundry product comes complete with hardware needed for installation into a variety of construction surfaces for secure, durable use. We can also provide chains and eye bolts for connecting bollards; these features can direct pedestrian or vehicle traffic flow, or provide design accents.

Materials and Finishes

While our most common Bollards are produced in cast (ductile) iron, we also offer Bollards produced in aluminum, steel and stainless steel. We utilize recyclable materials wherever possible, and all of our Bollards are meticulously machined and powder coated in several standards colors for unsurpassed appearance and exterior durability, ensuring many years of low-maintenance service.
